Malden’s Chinese Cultural Connection engages community with open house

On Saturday July 24, 2021, the Chinese Cultural Connection (CCC) in Malden opened its doors to the community. Located in the J Malden Center, the CCC gathered its staff and friends in the lobby for a day of fun, family and connection. Covid cluster in Provincetown

On July 25, officials in Provincetown held an emergency meeting to escalate the Town’s COVID-19 public health advisory to a public health mandate. This mandate requires all workers and customers to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces, except when doing so is not possible due to a medical condition or disability. CDC extends eviction moratorium

On the evening of August 3, 2021, due to the rise of Delta-variant COVID-19 infections, the CDC is issuing an extension of the federal eviction moratorium, originally set to end July 31, 2021. This new Order is set to grant protections on a more targeted basis than its predecessors. The August 3rd Order will cover U.S. counties experiencing substantially higher rates of infection.
