Japan Festival Boston is officially back in 2024! 

Date: April 27th and 28th, 2024 from 11am to 5pm

Details: This year’s festival will feature various performances on the Main Stage and at the Gazebo. Details: Presented by Fresh Ink Theatre, “Orpheus in the Overworld” is a bold reimagining of the classic myth, directed by Shira Helena Gitlin and written by Dante Gonzalez. This production features a uniquely queer twist on the timeless story of Orpheus and Eurydice, filled with tomboys, fairies, gods, and god-ish bartenders. The play is a celebration of queerness, genderfullness, and owning one’s narrative.

Event: Nüwa in Fairyland – World Premiere
