The only bilingual Chinese-English Newspaper in New England

Are you a person of Chinese heritage who currently lives or previously lived in Massachusetts?

The UMass Chinese Mental Health Program invites you to participate in a series of short research surveys. The goals of our program are to understand how Chinese individuals in Massachusetts feel about the concept of mental health, facilitate discussions about mental health within families, and improve the health and well-being of our communities by sharing local resources.

Participants will be asked to take a short 15-minute survey. If you choose to leave an email, you will be entered into a raffle for a rice cooker valued at $150! We will also be adding four additional $50 gift cards to the raffle pool for every 50 participants to increase the chances of winning a prize, up to a total of twenty gift cards. If you are chosen as the winner, we will email you. From now until Summer 2021, we will be distributing four short surveys (once every three months), and each survey comes with the same rice cooker or gift card raffle. Participants who take at least three surveys and record their emails will be rewarded with entry into a separate raffle for ten chances to win an additional $50 e-gift card. Please make sure to leave the same email each time so we can keep track!

In 1999, President Bill Clinton signed an executive order, effectively creating The White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANAPI). President Biden has now recently worked to expand upon the initiative. […]
