We Are Boston Gala celebrates city’s diversity

The seventh We Are Boston Gala took place Dec. 4 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, celebrating diversity and new immigrants. More than 1,000 people attended the gala, featuring ethnic dishes, cultural performances and an awards ceremony.

Youth Group Wins Visit to White House

A Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) youth group’s video submission was chosen as a Champion of Change honoree by the White House. As a result, the group has been invited to Washington D.C on April 5, 2012.
