Massachusetts Families, Community Leaders Announce Plans to Win Comprehensive Immigration Reform in 2013

At 11 a.m. on Monday at Boston City Hall, leaders from labor, faith, and government will join with the New England Keeping Families Together Coalition and immigrant families impacted by the failed immigration system to announce “Keeping Families Together,” a new national campaign to pass sensible and humane immigration reform in 2013. The campaign seeks to build on the proposals released this week by a bipartisan group of 8 US Senators and by President Obama, with the goal of achieving humane and fair reform that reduces the backlog of visa applications and provides a pathway to citizenship for those already here.
