Stolen Bike is Replaced With the Help of a Few Good Malden Men

Last week, Mayor Gary Christenson attended the Malden High School Adventures & Academics Program (MAAP) Presentation and at the conclusion of the program, Director Pat Laidley shared some distressing news with the Mayor. One of her students, Deyshawn Boucicault, who is entering 9th grade in September, had his bike stolen the day before and Pat wondered if the Mayor knew of any way to help Deyshawn get a second-hand bike.

Malden reaches out to Asian residents for public safety

More than 150 Chinese residents of Malden attended the city’s monthly safety meeting for Asian residents on July 15 at the Malden Senior Center. Malden Mayor Gary Christenson attended the meeting along with city representatives from the fire and police departments. Continue reading
