Asian American Commission swears in new members
The Asian American Commission had a ceremony on Jan. 24 to welcome six new commissioners.
Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England (CCBA) – Chinatown Crime Watch Received Motorola Solutions Foundation Public Safety Grant
The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England (CCBA) – Chinatown Crime Watch today announced it has received a $10,000.00 Public Safety Grant from Motorola Solutions Foundation on December 10, 2012 as part of the Public Safety and Security Institute. The Motorola Solutions Foundation is the charitable arm of Motorola Solutions Inc. With this Grant, CCBA – Chinatown Crime Watch will be able to continue nightly patrols and serve the Boston/Chinatown community, which has an estimated population of 20,000, seven days a week including holidays and in inclement weather.
Chinatown Resident Association names three consultants
The Boston Chinatown Resident Association named three consultants and discussed medical insurance benefits for seniors at its monthly meeting on Jan. 2 at the Josiah Quincy Lower School.
