Police advisory: Robbery and larceny in Chinatown
On April 2, Boston Police District A-1 Police Officers filed a police report for the victim who is a middle-aged Asian woman who speaks only Mandarin. The victim stated that she was approached by three Asian female suspects who stated that they needed money to help the victim’s sick daughter. The victim believed the suspects. She went to the bank and withdrew an undisclosed amount of money and gave the money to the suspects.
All three Asian female suspects were described as being from early to late thirties in age, black hair, brown eyes, five feet to five feet 2 inches tall with slim builds. There was no clothing description given.

When an elderly Chinatown resident walked down Beach Street on March 26, she never imagined she would lose her life savings to “gold diggers” who were also Chinese seniors. The incident was reported to the Boston Police Department.
