South Cove Manor and Boston Chinese Evangelical Church Sign a Purchase and Sale Agreement for 120 Shawmut Avenue

A Purchase and Sale Agreement has been signed that will sell 120 Shawmut Avenue, presently owned by South Cove Manor, to the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church. The target date for the closing is in the first quarter of 2014.

Chinatown Coalition celebrates 20th anniversary

The Chinatown Coalition celebrated its 20th anniversary on Feb. 14 at Hostelling International. Its present committee includes representatives from the Asian Community Development Corporation, Boston Chinese Evangelical Church, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University and the Chinese Progressive Association.

South Cove Manor sells Shawmut location to Chinatown church

South Cove Manor Nursing Home will sell its Shawmut location to the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church. The decision was made at South Cove Manor’s board meeting Jan. 28.
