Coinciding with the 10-year celebration of its Newton Campus, Boston Chinese Evangelical Church has added a new Mandarin congregation to serve and minister to the Mandarin-speaking Chinese in Newton area.
The Chinatown Coalition met on Oct. 10 to discuss community updates. The city of Boston’s Public Works Department gave a presentation on Oct. 16 on drafting a new contract for trash collection.
The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association met Sept. 24 at 90 Tyler Street, while the Chinatown Resident Association held its monthly meeting on Oct. 2 at the Josiah Quincy School.
