Chinese American Vivian Shuh Ming Louie, professor at Harvard University and BCNC board member will read her new book Keeping the Immigrant Bargain at BCNC Wednesday, May 15.

Mandarin Chinese Classes at BCNC starting in late April

Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center will be starting two intensive beginner-level Mandarin classes later this April. There are two weekly classes on Mondays and Saturdays and each run for 5 weeks.

BCNC banquet celebrates youth

The Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center celebrated the Year of the Snake at its Chinese New Year Banquet on March 1 at Empire Garden.

Chinatown Coalition celebrates 20th anniversary

The Chinatown Coalition celebrated its 20th anniversary on Feb. 14 at Hostelling International. Its present committee includes representatives from the Asian Community Development Corporation, Boston Chinese Evangelical Church, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University and the Chinese Progressive Association.
