Why Advertise In the SAMPAN?
Unlike other Chinese newspapers, the SAMPAN is the only and the oldest bilingual paper in New England. This allows us to reach both Chinese-only and Englishonly readers. Other Chinese papers in New England exclusively target Chinese readers. However, many younger Chinese Americans and other Asian Americans cannot read Chinese, but are very much interested in Asian American issues – that’s why the SAMPAN has been providing news on these issues in both languages since 1972. Also, as a bilingual paper, the SAMPAN allows for the larger community to be informed about Asian American issues.
