Liang racks up endorsements from area organizations

QUINCY- Councilor At-Large Nina Liang announced today several organizations that have endorsed her in her re-election to the Quincy Council.  Liang is seeking her second term as one of Quincy’s three At-Large Councilors.

“I am honored by the support I have received from these organizations, and am proud to have their endorsement,” said Liang. “Quincy is a great city, but is still a city that is divided on many fronts.  As your At-Large Councilor, I bring a unique perspective to our city government that is critical in bridging these divides and building a future for Quincy where everyone can thrive.”

Liang has received endorsements from: Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus, IBEW 103, Local Laborers 133, Carpenters Local 424, New England regional Council of Carpenters, Quincy Democratic City Committee, South Shore Young Democrats, Plumbers Union Local 12 and Elevator Constructors Local 4.

 

 

Nina was born and raised in Quincy.  She currently serves as one of Quincy’s At-Large City Councilors.  Nina is the Chair of the Downtown and Economic Development Committee and the Community Engagement Committee.  Nina is also on the Board of the Thomas Crane Library Foundation, D.O.V.E., Maria Droste Counseling Services, Quincy Catholic Academy, The Lions Club, and the Massachusetts Asian American Commission.  She is also one of the founders of the Quincy Women’s Network, and is active in several community organizations such as Quincy Asian Resources Inc., Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, and South Shore Innovation and South Shore Science Festival.
