The Asian Pacific Medical Student Association at Tufts University School of Medicine will host a bone marrow registry drive at the Tufts Medical Center atrium.

Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. You can be the cure! Medical Students from Tufts University School of Medicine’s Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) is hosting our first bone marrow registry drive with Be the Match® on 11/13/17Monday10:30am – 2:00pm at Tufts Medical Center – Main Atrium.

Did you know, there is racial disparity in the bone marrow registry? Minorities collectively make up only ~40% of the registry (6% Black/African American, 10% Hispanic/Latino, 6% Asian & South Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander, etc.), thus will have a lower likelihood to finding a match. Join APAMSA to diversify the registry and make health attainable for all! #diversifytheregistry
