The Woodward School in Quincy congratulates Weymouth resident Grace O’Sullivan ’20 for her exceptional performance on this year’s National Latin Exam, achieving a Silver Medal Maxima Cum Laude award.  The National Latin Exam is offered under the aegis of the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League.  More than 149,000 students from all fifty states participated, as well as other students around the world from places as far away as New Zealand, Belize, Ghana, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands and Spain.

Grace is in the Freshman class at The Woodward School, a college preparatory school for girls in Quincy. Grace studies Julius Caesar’s Commentarii De  Bello Gallico with her teacher and Classics Department Chair, Ms. Rosemary West. Congratulations, Grace!

 

 

Braintree:  Renee Han, Jordan Cedrone, Arianna LaColla

The Woodward School in Quincy, congratulates Braintree residents Jordan Cedrone ’21, Arianna LaColla ’21, and Renee Han ’22  for their exceptional performances on this year’s National Latin Exam.  Jordan earned a Gold Summa Cum Laude award with a perfect paper for Latin I; Arianna earned a Magna Cum Laude award for Latin I;  and Renee earned a Blue Ribbon award for Introduction to Latin.  The National Latin Exam is offered under the aegis of the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League.  More than 149,000 students from all fifty states participated, as well as other students around the world from places as far away as New Zealand, Belize, Ghana, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands and Spain.
