Meet children’s book author and illustrator, Ruth Chan

“Where’s the Party?”


WHAT:     Children and adults are invited for a reading of “Where’s the Party?” a drawing demonstration and a Q & A with the author.

Reading will be followed by book signing and light refreshments.

Suggested donation of $15 per family at the door. Books will be available to purchase on-site. Proceeds raised from this event will support art programs.

About the Book

About the Author

Currently living in Brooklyn, NY, Ruth Chan is an illustrator and picture book maker who spent her childhood tobogganing in Canada, a good chunk of time studying art and education at Wellesley College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a decade working with kids in diverse communities, including the Acorn Center for Early Education and Care at BCNC.
