Asian Women for Health’s 5th Annual conference on Tuesday, May 16th8:30 am-3:30 pm.

This year’s conference will focus on the social determinants of health and the state of Asian Women’s Health in Massachusetts. The event will take place at the New England Carpenters Training Center on 750 Dorchester Ave. in Boston. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Viswanath from the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) and Harvard School of Public Health, with opening remarks delivered by DPH Commissioner Monica Bahrel.

Topics ranging from problem gambling/refugee & immigrants mental health, nail salon workers initiative, to pedestrian safety in Chinatown and Biomonitoring Study in MA.
4.5 hours of Continuing Education credits for Nursing, Social Work or Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) will be available for those attending.
