AARP is commemorating the Year of the Rooster by returning to the Asian American Expo, the largest Lunar New Year event in the U.S. Guests will receive a special complimentary handmade Lunar New Year gift when they show their AARP membership card. The AARP booth is located in Hall 4 near Stage 1 at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA on Saturday, January 14 and Sunday, January 15.
“Every year, we look forward to attending the Asian American Expo,” said Daphne Kwok, AARP Vice President of Multicultural Leadership for the Asian American and Pacific Islander Audience. “This year we are rolling out our Health Pop-up where we will be sharing health wellness information in addition to sharing information and resources about issues about everything from caregiving to fraud prevention with the crowds.”
The Asian American Expo will feature more than 1,000 booths in six large exhibition halls, three unique Asian food courts, and live entertainment on eight performance stages.
