Crime Blotter


All reports are submitted by the Boston Police Department. The time period is from Aug. 15 to Aug. 21, for District A-1, which includes Chinatown.

To report a crime or suspicious activity, call 911. Interpreters are available for Chinese speakers.


Aug. 15, 12:50 p.m. The suspect was arrested on ping on alley on a trespassing offense. He was in an area where a no trespassing sign was clearly posted. 

Aug. 15, 5:31 p.m. The 3 suspects were arrested on Pine Street for trespassing.  They were in an area where a no trespassing sign was posted and a place where numerous complaints from neighbors about drug activity.

Warrant Arrest
Aug. 16, 10:00 a.m.      The suspect was arrested on Boylston street on an outstanding warrant issued out of BMC.

Aug. 17, 2:58 a.m. The officers responded to Edinboro Street on a report of several shots fired.  Upon arrival the officers observed several people running in different directions.  Upon further investigation it was determined several people had been shot and that none of the injuries were life threatening.  A suspect was also arrested at the scene and the incident will be further investigated by the district detectives. 

Aug. 18, 12:15 a.m. The victim reports while walking on Harrison Avenue, he was assaulted and robbed by an unknown person.

Aug. 19, 12:29 a.m. The victim reports he was struck with a pole by a drug dealer named Mizz while he was walking on Hudson Street.  The victim transported to hospital for treatment.

Armed robbery
Aug. 21, 12:04 a.m. The intoxicated victim reports while walking on beach street he was robbed at knife point by a male known to him.  After further investigation it was determined that the suspect had intended to buy drugs and the deal went bad.
