The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will implement overnight lane closures on Storrow Drive eastbound and Memorial Drive westbound in the vicinity of the Longfellow Bridge on Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 2. The closures are necessary for ongoing construction of the Longfellow Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
On Memorial Drive westbound, just south of the Longfellow Bridge, a single lane closure will be implemented from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM for drainage work.
On Storrow Drive eastbound, just south of the Longfellow Bridge, a single lane closure will begin at 9:00 PM and a double lane closure will begin at 11:00 PM for drainage work. The lanes will reopen to traffic at 5:00 AM each morning.
MassDOT’s contractor, White-Skanska-Consigli JV, will make every effort to minimize noise during the overnight work hours.
