Ask anybody in town, who are the hottest food trucks in Boston, you will hear names like Bon Me Foods , Mei Mei Street Kitchen, or Momogoose Foodtruck. And all those food trucks share a common theme – that they all have Asian Food Truckapreneurs behind those popular ventures!
In the fifth installment of the NAAAP Entrepreneurship Committee’s panel discussions, NAAAP will be bringing in top Asian local food truck owners that have brought innovation and excitement to the food trucks industry as well as the overall food scene in Boston:
Loc Vo, co-owner of Momogoose, is a pioneer of the food truck industry. In the past 20 years he has built a Vietnamese food empire with over 4 trucks and 3 restaurants/cafes.
Mei Li, co-owner of sibling run Mei Mei Street Kitchen, opened their food truck in 2012, and a little over a year, their first restaurant. Mei Mei has been featured in countless publications and won numerous awards for their amazing and inventive food, their focus on sustainability and local sourcing, as well as their incredibility talented team.
Ali Fong, co-owner of Bon Me, runs an amazing operation with her husband that in 4 short years has opened 3 food trucks, and a store front in Kendall Sq. They have the longest lunch lines in Boston, and were awarded Boston Magazine’s 2013 Best Food Truck.
