25th Annual Cleaner Greener Quincy, Saturday May 3

The 25th Annual Cleaner Greener Quincy Day will be held this Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at locations throughout the City. Residents are encouraged to participate in the city-wide clean up event and attend a free cookout at Pageant Field beginning at 12:30 p.m. The Park Department can supply materials and bags. Residents are welcome to collect materials on Saturday any time after 8 a.m.


List of Locations by Ward:

Ward One: Atherton Hough Elementary School, Merrymount School, Perkins Field, Chickatabot/Norton Road beaches, Baker Beach, Palmer Street Seawall, Sandy Beach, Fire Station Beach, Gull Point, Snug Harbor School, O’Hara Circle/Heron Road Beach and Playground, Back Beach/end of Delano Avenue, LaBrecque Field, Edgewater Drive, Souther Tide Mill and Brill Field.

Ward Two: AvalonBeach, MoundStreetBeach, Joy Hanlon Field, Point Webster Middle School, MarshallElementary School, Faxon Park.

Ward Three: The Bog, Bishop Field, MontclairSchool, Newport/Beale Intersection and Old Colony @ Beale, WollastonSchool and Safford Park.

Ward Four: LincolnHancockElementary School, SterlingMiddle School, Kincaide Field, O’Rourke Park, Flaherty Field, Taber Street WWII Memorial, Abigail Adams Park.
