March 2014 – Lynn, MA. Multicultural Home Care (MCHC) recently received a deficiency-free home health care agency survey by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health periodically reviews home health care agencies to insure compliance of State and Federal regulations and quality of care by home health care agencies. The visits are unannounced and a thorough review of clinical documentation, administrative and clinical procedures, employee files, quality data and collection and contracts are conducted at the time. In addition, patients and staff are interviewed and monitoring visits are conducted with patients and clinicians.
Multicultural Home Care (MCHC) was found to be in full compliance with all the conditions and regulations of a quality home health care agency. Rebecca Arbouet, MSN-Ed, RNBC, Vice President of Clinical Operations of MCHC, is proud of the survey results and states, “We at Multicultural Home Care are proud of the work we do and the care provided to our clients and the community every day. The results of this survey demonstrate the great care and teamwork at Multicultural Home Care. I am proud of all the staff who contributed to this success.”
