Quincy Medical Center, a Steward Family Hospital (QMC) invites local seniors to its free Senior Supper on Wednesday, January 22 at 4 p.m. in the B/C Conference Room at Quincy Medical Center, located at 114 Whitwell Street, Quincy.
Part of Steward Health Care’s Continue Wellness Tour, the free event will include a healthy supper featuring “super foods,” an informative presentation by geriatric psychiatric nurse practitioner Cindy Gaito on “Beating the Winter Blues,” and a fun and simple exercise demonstration. Mary Richardson, former co-host of WCVB’s Chronicle and current community liaison for Steward Health Care System, will host the event.
There is no charge for the event, but registration is required by January 20 to reserve a seat. To register, please call 1-800-488-5959.
QMC regularly offers discounted Senior Suppers in the cafeteria Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Seniors can enjoy a hot entree, side dish, dessert and fountain drink for $5.
