Join the informative discussion with experienced stewards hosted by the Urban Wilds Council at Boston Natural Areas Network
BOSTON, MA, January 14 – Join Boston Natural Areas Network for an evening focusing on stewardship engagement. Hear from experienced stewards from The Friends of Belle Isle Marsh, the Friends of Jamaica Pond, Chelmsford Open Space Stewardship and others. The evening promises to offer an opportunity to learn how to draw and engage new volunteers, move your stewardship efforts forward, protect urban green spaces as well as share your own experiences with others.
The event will be at the office of Boston Natural Areas Network, 62 Summer Street, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA (Entrance is on Otis Street) 6:30 – 8:00PM Thursday, January 24, 2012.

The Urban Wilds Council, organized in 2009 by BNAN, brings together friends groups, city partners and concerned individuals from across Boston. By working as a citywide council, the group seeks to improve and increase capacity to protect, maintain and promote urban wilds.
