Boston Students to Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy
WHO: Boston Public Schools (BPS) students in grades K-12 from around the city
WHEN: Friday, January 18
WHERE: House of Blues (BPS schools only)
WHAT: “A Moment of Arts a World of Change,” a program to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Students from various BPS schools will perform as part of the districts 50th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. The program will feature singing, dancing, instrumental music, spoken word, and more.
DETAILS: The event will feature performances by students from the following schools:
- Boston Arts Academy
- Boston Latin School
- Codman Academy
- Curley K-8 School
- Edward Brooke Charter
- English High School
- Holmes Elementary
- Irving Middle School
- Jackson/Mann K-8 School
- Josiah Quincy Lower School
- Mozart Elementary
- Rogers Middle School
- Roland Hayes School of Music/John D. O’Bryant School
- Sumner Elementary School
