Fire Hydrant Water Flushing Program

The Malden Water Department will be implementing a fire hydrant flushing program on selected hydrants throughout the City to gather information on water pressure in order to improve Malden’s water system. Fire hydrants will be flowed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on the following dates:

April 10

April 11

April 17

April 18

Water consumers in areas of flushing may temporarily experience discolored water. It is advised that you observe water condition prior to any use, including laundry.
