  1. Kane says:

I’ve eaten roasted grasshoppers while in Japan – that was different… Best tasting unconventional food? Tripe, without a doubt!

  2. Eric Chadbourne says:

Blood was odd. I think it was cow blood.

    • Jolene Kravitzka says:

I agree with Eric. Blood is always weird to eat. On a trip to Taiwan a few years ago I was forced to eat coagulated blood… Imagine jelly, but hot and bloody. That was the weirdest food I’ve ever experienced.

  3. Tupple says:

Fried scorpions, and fried cicadas still in the shell. btw is starfish even edible?

  4. Afoodaficionado says:

Tripe, blood-love it, raw squid (San Nachi), Sea Squirt, Durian, Stinky Tofu, and some mealworms.

    • Kane says:

Hang on a minute! Stinky Tofu and Durian are perfectly fine foods!! Mealworms on the other hand…

  5. Teresa says:

Chitterlings, or any other intestines, you know what had gone through them, right?

  6. Afoodaficionado says:

Oh Intestines (old hat), duck tongues, pig ears, pig hocks … list can go on.

  7. Gilbert Ho says:

Hat off for those folks have the “guts” to try those wired stuffs, for me, none of the above mentioned would touch my chopsticks. Even Chicken gives me goose bumps.
