Discussion: What is the strangest Asian food you’ve ever eaten?
We wanna hear what you have to say! What is the strangest Asian food you’ve ever eaten? Star fish? Insect? Scorpion? Crickets? Snake guts?
Eaten something weirder? Leave a comment below!

I’ve eaten roasted grasshoppers while in Japan – that was different… Best tasting unconventional food? Tripe, without a doubt!
Blood was odd. I think it was cow blood.
I agree with Eric. Blood is always weird to eat. On a trip to Taiwan a few years ago I was forced to eat coagulated blood… Imagine jelly, but hot and bloody. That was the weirdest food I’ve ever experienced.
Fried scorpions, and fried cicadas still in the shell. btw is starfish even edible?
Tripe, blood-love it, raw squid (San Nachi), Sea Squirt, Durian, Stinky Tofu, and some mealworms.
Hang on a minute! Stinky Tofu and Durian are perfectly fine foods!! Mealworms on the other hand…
Chitterlings, or any other intestines, you know what had gone through them, right?
Oh Intestines (old hat), duck tongues, pig ears, pig hocks … list can go on.
Hat off for those folks have the “guts” to try those wired stuffs, for me, none of the above mentioned would touch my chopsticks. Even Chicken gives me goose bumps.
